bulletWe have finally regained control of the Frontpage web that this site is based on.  There are new listings on the Associates page and will soon be new downloads available.  We will, once again, be aggressively updating this system.

bulletMike Ruane of WinWin Solutions is the new controlling interest in Revelation - a much, much welcome change.  He is open to considering modifications (fixes) to AREV 3.12, so if you have something that's 'bugging' you, please write to let him know.
bulletWe have moved AdvancedRevelation.com to a server owned by Rob Hudson, Datawise Consulting.  We previously had it on the server owned AWASCO, Inc. (Orin Wells).  I would personally like to thank Orin for his generosity and patience (the initial setup had a few problems).

Tuesday, July 25, 2000

bulletSEETHRU.ZIP was added to the Download page.  This is source for a routine for AREV 2.x-3.x that allows popups of underlying window information at runtime.  Neat!  Submitted by Chris Leenhouts and modified by Larry Wilson.
bulletList of RTI subroutines; the V series with the associated VOC command and the RTP series with their functions.  This page is underneath the Programming page and is labeled 'RTI Routines'.
bulletUpdated the address and phone number for Betty Erickson on the Associates page.

bulletMicrosoft Outlook Virus Alert - this virus is a nightmare come true.  Check out the MSNBC news article here.  We advise checking the Microsoft Windows Security site often to retrieve a fix as soon as it is posted.

Thursday, July 13, 2000

bulletA coronal mass ejection (CME) is scheduled to strike Earth tomorrow; while the chance for disruption of a power grid is slight, it nonetheless exists.  You may read more about it and see an animated gif from SOHO at: www.spacewatch.com.

bulletFinally!  We have moved to a server that we can actually edit from.  Orin Wells of AWASCO, Inc. and his partner, Jim Brewer, have been kind enough to furnish space.  Look for many improvements and additions over the next 2 weeks.
bulletYes, the Discussion page has been broken.  It is now fixed enough to show new messages as you post them; past messages will be recovered and posted.  I couldn't even get at the discussion page to make that notification.

Saturday, June 3, 2000

bulletThe Developers and Corporations pages have been removed.  Since all listings are on the Associates page, and all corporations are also developers, the pages were deemed to be redundant.
bulletNew names have been added to the Associates page.
bulletThe pages that show system subroutine documentation, found underneath the Programming page, were found to have bad links; those are being repaired and updated.
bulletNew messages have been added to the Discussion forum.
bulletSeveral pages have had been internally reformatted to reduce size, and thus loading time; you should notice some significantly decreased loading time.
bulletPlease note that should a floating Chat icon popup (it moves across the top of pages), it is a request from the Webmaster to chat - even though it does not read that way.  Of course, if you decide not to chat, no offense will be taken.  This also holds for messages we post to the Revelation Technologies, Inc. Advanced Revelation message section.  Lastly, the text on the chat icon, whether it be on one of the pages on this site or on one of the messages on the RTI site, is real-time; i.e. if the Webmaster is on-line, the icon shows Chat available - if the Webmaster is offline or has the status set to 'Return in 5 minutes', then Chat icon shows that status and requests that you leave a message.
