Larry,
I have read most of the Tech Bulletins re sizelock and have been unable to find a setting for sizelock which will prevent file shrinking on a permanent basis. I find that in most cases in my own system I do not want any reduction in file size on increases. I realise that 2 prevents shrinkage but it also I presume prevents expansion, 1 prevents reduction only until a Select etc is performed on it. Is there any setting which will allow expansion but not contraction as a permanent feature???
