Ray,

AFAIK, putting a custom MFS on the file that constantly checks the SIZELOCK is the only way to be sure. What I do is have my screens call a routine that, in part, sets the SIZELOCK to 1, so that means that a majority of my users time is spent in files with SIZELOCK = 1.

But, of course, it never STAYS set. <drat>
